A poetic garden world unfolded in soft pastels — powder blue, sage, blush, peach, and gold — with yellow roses as a meaningful family tribute.

Curated by Valentina Kera Events Design Boutique, leading destination wedding planners and designers in Italy, the celebration combined couture florals, elegant textures, and lakeside romance into an intimate, cinematic experience.

This project turned the villa’s historic architecture into a modern secret garden: organic installations that felt “grown in place,” candlelit tables dressed in flowing textiles, and a layout crafted for effortless guest flow.

A stylish, modern couple with a love for symbolism and a soft, romantic aesthetic. They asked for a celebration that felt intimate and natural — refined, garden-inspired, and unmistakebly Italian — without losing structure or comfort for their guests.

The Couple

Every element was thoughtfully thought: from the pastel bridal bouquet that echoed the hues of the ceremony floral installations, to the airy drapings and garden-inspired arrangements that framed each moment with effortless beauty. The overall mood was playful yet sofisticated, like stepping into a modern fairytale.

The vision for this wedding was to create a Secret Garden — a romantic world suspended between reality and dream, where nature’s colors bloom in soft pastels and delicate textures. Inspired by spring’s poetic lightness, the design blended couture elegance with a fresh, youthful atmosphere, turning the villa into an enchanted floral sanctuary overlooking Lake Como.

Vision — “Secret Garden” Storytelling

Tablescapes layered textural linens, crystal, and candles for depth and glow. The result: a refined, contemporary garden mood — luxury wedding design in Italy with the lightness of an open-air fête.

The palette mixed powder blue, sage green, blush, peach, and soft gold, anchored by yellow roses as a personal motif. Florals were light, sculptural, and organic, designed to feel naturally rooted in the villa’s grounds.

Style & Atmosphere — Poetic Luxury in Bloom

On the panoramic terrace of Villa Aura del Lago, the couple exchanged vows between asymmetric semi-arches of seasonal blooms. A white petal-lined aisle guided them through the floral landscape while the lake and mountains formed a timeless backdrop.

The setting delivered a romantic, modern, and ethereal altar — a discreet statement that framed emotion without overpowering it.

Ceremony — Modern Garden Altar

The wedding cake became a centerpiece tableau: displayed outdoors, surrounded by garden blooms, petals, and candle clusters that echoed the ceremony palette. Powder-blue drapery and the villa’s grounds created a theatrical reveal for the cake-cutting.

A vintage ivory convertible added a la dolce vita note for portraits and grand departure — a chic Lake Como signature.
