rebirth
These two wonderful people went through difficult moments in life and literally saved each other.
The deep meaning of every detail was important to the couple. They wanted to involve everyone present at the wedding, to create emotional and touching moments and share them with all the guests and their closest family.

We took the painting «The Birth of Venus» for inspiration, as it literally reflected this couple and their path like a mirror. It should be emphasized that Venus represents not only beauty and love but also victory. In our case, «victory over hardships».
the IDEA
But we didn’t stop at the painting itself and dug deeper. The painting «The Birth of Venus» was commissioned by the Medici family by the Italian artist Sandro Botticelli.

Thanks to their contribution to the development of art, science, and culture at that time, the Medici became a symbol of the Renaissance. They showed a real love for art, sculpture, and architecture. Considering all these details, we had a lot to be inspired by.
Our color palette was chosen to be precisely the colors prevailing in the painting—the ones that created integrity and harmony.

The couple really liked vintage. The bride had a lot of details in this style. I also like this style, but in a measured way. «Vintage» is defined as exquisite, antique, and all the best and most stylish of those times.

We have designed the invitations and used handmade paper for wedding stationery.
details
This paper is based on vegetable fibers consisting of cellulose. Manufacturing it is a long and meticulous process. Holding such handmade paper in one’s hands, a person immediately feels a special vintage flavor. And it was necessary to convey the feeling of fine art beforehand, long before the guests went to this wedding.
It is this vintage flavor that we decided to add to the design of our project.
But we wanted to give accents of the vintage, not to make the whole project completely in vintage style; it was important in order to avoid the effect of the grotesque.
Our happy and relaxed bride was getting ready in a beautiful suite with huge windows overlooking the Tuscan fields. Light makeup and pulled-back hair created an angelic image for her. All the details were perfectly selected in vintage style (see photo), and the most exquisite of them was a «family heirloom» — a grandmother’s tulle gloves with a brooch.
Morning of the bride
We decided to decorate the ceremony space without floral decorations, but with an emphasis on deeper meanings.

The ceremony area was in a private hall, which was opened exclusively for our couple.

The couple wanted to include some prayers and blessings from their parents in the ceremony.
The ceremony
We decided to create something similar to a «church altar,» but in a demure style, to give this place a certain «light and peace.» These vintage candleholders, combined with large and tall cylindrical candles, have created the desired effect perfectly.

Candles express the warmth and flame of love, and the meaning of the white color of the candle is wise decisions and sincere deeds (as truly a reflection of the history of our couple). All this created a sincere, calm, and romantic atmosphere.
Everyone cried at this ceremony!
Another merit of ours was the direction of the ceremony, which was clearly executed and designed for a couple.

The ceremony was complemented not only by the exchange of the newlyweds' vows but also by the closest ones who contributed to its holding. It was something unusual, unearthly, and awe-inspiring. I don’t have the words to fully express it for you.
The reception table decor was selected perfectly. Vintage chargers were chosen exactly to resemble the details of the sculpture. The Medici family greatly appreciated and made an outstanding contribution to art.

Candlesticks, cutlery, and napkin holders with gold accents added elegance. And tablecloths and napkins in a gray tone added moderation and sophistication. Designer contemporary fine art floristry brought harmony to the table.
The reception
This project and its design became a kind of art in itself, and flowers became an environment.

It was our art and environment that harmoniously combined and completed the table where the dearest to our couple people gathered. These two elements set the perfect Italian vibe. And in the very atmosphere of the room, the emotions of our guests floated.

Place cards incorporated with wedding menus with an elegant corduroy bow added a touch of class and an accent of elegance.
There have been pyramids of champagne at almost every wedding lately; it is a trend, and our couple really wanted it.

We started thinking about how to do it in a more unusual way and incorporate it into the general style of this wedding, not deviating from the theme and adding some kind of art and magic to it.

The solution was dry ice. This material is very dangerous for the skin. And we followed the clear instructions and used all the necessary materials and protections.
The pyramid of champagne
The fog (dry ice) has become a kind of mystery, as if for a couple of minutes we were transported back to the Medici era
The cake became a highlight at the end of the reception. We decided to make it blue, the same color from our palette, to give a strong accent at the end while respecting the directions of vintage style. Together with the cake designer, we have devised a sketch of not only how it will look from the outside but also from the inside.

It is important to us to convey every detail to the client so that a complete picture of how everything will be as a result appears in their head! After all, there are so many details, and sometimes it is very difficult for couples to combine everything into a single picture.
The cake
You’ll probably wonder why the cake was blue. At the end of the reception, we were supposed to have a piece of art with a strong vintage accent. It was this final element that surprised everyone, since wedding cakes are usually expected to be in classic wedding tones. But our work is to amaze!
We also manufactured a special two-tiered tulle tablecloth for the pyramid of champagne and the cake stand. It added a vintage accent and some lightness.
