Our task was to organize a fabulous jubilee birthday dinner in a palazzo overlooking the Grand Canal, as well as to think through and plan two more days of entertainment.
The most important thing was taking care of logistics, which is very important when it comes to Venice since this city is not easy.
Palazzo Pisani Moretta, one of the most beautiful palazzos on the Grand Canal in Venice, became the main character of the celebration. Pisani Moretta is an amazing venue-museum, the lighting of which still consists of many real candles lit by hand.
With the hall filled with such rich frescoes and murals, the most important thing was to think through and develop the design and concept of this event carefully. The task wasn’t easy because it was necessary to create the right atmosphere without overloading the hall with decorations and floral arrangements.
We decided to create an English garden with asymmetrical shapes right in the middle of the majestic palazzo hall.
It was decided to put mirrored tables so that all the frescoes from the ceilings were reflected on their surfaces, thus creating a 3D effect and an airy atmosphere. The floral decoration seemed to grow right out of the tables. It all gave a touch of modern art.
The birthday girl wished for magic and Venetian charm. She really wanted us to call the event AMORE. Based on this, the celebration was called «That’s Amore».
In this such a capacious word, AMORE, we have included all the meanings:
A — adoration
M — music
O — omen
R — romance
E — elegance
The seating cards were made as personalized tarot cards with different wishes for each guest. Everyone appreciated it very much and took their card with them.
We invited a singer-compere to the event, who set the mood, maintained the atmosphere, and led the evening according to a scenario devised and thought out in advance. Upon arrival, the guests were greeted not only by a string quartet but also by models-dancers dressed in Venetian costumes, who continued to entertain the guests and change their images throughout the evening.
All the guests had artistic taste, so it was important to surprise them and organize a sophisticated, exclusive evening. Poetry, galleries, art, and architecture — all these were common ground among our guests.
Gifts were also created for everyone invited: personalized silk books with a collection of poems. All parties were delighted!
Properly thought-out, organized, and coordinated logistics also played a role. Everything was planned down to the smallest detail.
