Our task was to select high-quality professional contractors, choose cities and locations for shootings, think through all the details and logistics, and create the perfect picture for a marriage proposal.
The wishes of the couple were very specific, and since the time frame was very narrow, we had quite a challenge ahead of us.
We have done a tremendous job, found all the suitable sites, and agreed on all the dates.
Shootings took place in Milan, Lake Como, Rome, Venice, and Florence.
Milan attracted the couple with its Milan Cathedral and Gallery.
Lake Como inspired us to shoot at Villa Balbianello, after which we prepared a wonderful picnic with champagne and floral decorations on the Riva boat. On Como, we also had a shoot with white horses at Villa Balbiano. It was magical and thrilling! The couple also took a ride along the lake shore in a vintage Porsche Spider; we advise everyone to include such a romantic adventure in their honeymoon.
Rome conquered us with its sights: the Trevi fountains, Spain Square, and the Vatican.
There were a lot of people, even if the shooting took place in the early morning, but we still managed to cope with this task.
Venice is a recognized city of lovers, and of course we have included this city in our romantic story. The couple stayed in Aman in a luxurious suite painted with Tiepolo frescoes and overlooking the Grand Canal. A boat trip filming in the top places of Venice and then a romantic mini-trip on a gondola added charm and Italian authenticity. After all, Venice is a one-of-a-kind city in the whole world!
Florence has become the key city for the entire project. In the morning, there was a simple shoot around the city, and afterwards, well, there was a great surprise for the girl that we prepared.
Everything was designed turnkey, and every detail of the decor was thought out and custom-made. Even the costumes for the ballerinas were ordered individually.
The flower aisle, the design consisting of 2500 roses, ballerinas dancing to romantic instrumental music, and the atmosphere itself won the girl’s heart.
The design of decorations was quite challenging, as the hall at Villa Cora in Florence is completely gold and in empire style. It was not easy to fit a huge number of flowers and more gold into such a room. What’s more, it was necessary to take into account the fragility of the hall itself, since in such places everything needs to be strictly coordinated with managers at all times.
I don’t know how much the photos will be able to convey the atmosphere, but everything turned out just amazing.
